Smita Thackeray started her next film Society under the banner of Paradigm Studios & Academy Pvt Ltd. directed by Rahul Dholakia at Model town in Andheri west.Salman Khan came specially to give clap for the mahurat of film.Salman Khan also told media that he want to work with Smita Thackeray if she will cast her in her next film. This is the second film of Rajvirr Singh who has done earlier Kaise Kahen.Film is based of water crisis in society.She want to give message from her all films to the audience.Sanjay Chhel has written the dialogues of the film.Mahurat shot of film was shot on Rajvirr Singh,Daisy Irani and Sarika.Smita Thackeray roled the camera where Salman Khan gave the clap for mahurat shot.Cast of film is Randhir Kapoor,Om Puri,Paresh Rawal,Javed Jaffery,Dimple Kapadia,Sarika,Seema Biswas,Daisy Irani,Rajvirr Singh and Reema Sen.

The FILMALANI Awards were announced and presented at a fun filled joyful evening on 7th March 2010 at Mhada, Andheri in a Dance Studio. The Award was Something Special as for the first time in the History of Film Awards, a Star does not take home the award, instead a Fan takes home the Star (i.e, the Award) And the Award - Memento is not a Black Lady or a Golden Lady, but it is a DVD of a latest Hindi Film.
So, in a way, a FAN takes home the STARS.

The Awards were presented in a small gathering, that cheered up to everything... lete lete... awards le gaye! The arrangement for the audience was Not of a Rock Show (standing), nor of an Pin drop silence (Seated) or nor like a Gentleman (Across the table).. It was relaxing.. lete lete....in the bed! With Drinks and Chips to go by, Enjoy the evening on the Bed (talk, gossip, sms, facebook or you want, you can sleep too)...
